The sixth Consortium Meeting of NIAGARA took place online on the 12th of May 2026. Partners had the opportunity to update each other on the technical advances reached after 30 months of work, as well as to plan future actions.
The NIAGARA consortium gathered online on 12th May 2026 to review the technical evolution of tasks carried out in the last six months. Among others, partners shared research results regarding the multi-analyte biosensors and discussed the state of the lab-scale validation, as well as they were able to plan future deployment in real conditions. Also, approaches for water contamination remediation, and real-time monitoring techniques and tools for risk assessment of water quality were discussed.
The consortium engaged in interesting discussions regarding what is about to come and how to optimise the research and its dissemination for ensuring project success and overcoming foreseen obstacles. Next steps will be focused on the optimisation and preparation of the technologies for a collaborative assembly, deployment and testing under real conditions.
The next General Assembly will be held in November 2026.
Stay tuned for more updates!
